Sugar and alcohol levels affect the freezing performance. Drinks must contain at least 4% sugar to form a proper slush. Sugar-free drinks are NOT suitable. Alcoholic slushies should contain 2.8%-15% alcohol; higher levels may prevent freezing.
How long does it take to make a slushie?

The preparation time is usually 15-60 minutes. The actual time depends on the ingredients, recipe, and the starting temperature of the liquid.
How can I make perfect soft serve ice cream?

For best results, please follow the included recipes. You can also use this classic formula: Whole Milk : Heavy Cream : Sugar = 6 : 3 : 1.
Why does the slushie machine stop before reaching the preset temperature?

When torque reaches the preset threshold, cooling auto-stops for protection. Three beeps with a steady icon indicate completion. Although you can adjust temp ±2°C/4°F from the preset temp, the final cooling temp is determined by the torque threshold.
Why doesn’t the slush dispense after the program finishes?

Slush may occasionally stick to the cooling cylinder due to low temperature. If needed, gently use a spoon handle to help release it. This issue has been improved in newer units.
